A step-by-step guide to the Hard Mode Vaults

Cryptex's "Hard Mode" vaults are now available! These vaults let users mint TCAP with a minimum collateral ratio of 125%, allowing them to mint more TCAP with the same collateral. Here's how to use them:

  1. To open a Hard Mode vault visit app.cryptex.finance on Ethereum Mainnet.

  2. On the app landing page, select “Vaults.” Once you see the following screen, select “create”

  3. Ensure that H mode is selected, choose your collateral, select “Create Vault”, and confirm the transaction.

  4. After the transaction is confirmed, choose which collateral type you would like to use to mint TCAP.

  5. Insert the amount of collateral you would like to use to mint TCAP.

    For Hard Mode Vaults, a user must mint a minimum of 20 TCAP.

  6. Click the Mint button and after your transaction is confirmed, your TCAP will show up in your wallet.

  7. The vault ratio monitor displays your collateral ratio and risk level. Users can choose their desired collateral ratio, but your vault may be liquidated if it drops below 125%.
